JAN MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
The January meeting was called to order by the President, Bob Obenland, and reports were given by the officers and committee members. Election of officers was held for the following positions: 2nd Vice President-Bernie Striegel, Programs-Chuck Thompson, and Membership -Norm Barrett and Bill Carroll. The two board appointed positions will be publicity-Mark Reynolds and Parliamentarian-Bob Barton.
After refreshments, Felix Cruz, our new D56 representative gave a talk on the Department 56 Birthday party to be held in August in St. Paul, MN. He told of the new Limited Edition pieces which will be available this year at the dealers. He also showed a short video which told how D56 began and announced the new buildings which would be available at the party.
