February 17, 2002 At this meeting we were treated to a visit from Jim & Josette Lowson. Jim gave us a demonstration on how to make "proper" wood piles while regaling us with stories from gatherings and club meetings they attended as well as from his home in Canada. After his demonstration we were all challenged to see how well we listened to his instructions. It is amazing how many different types of wood piles we were able to create. All with the same basic materials. Jim and Josette were kind enough to bring some of their merchandise with them for club members to purchase. True collectors that we are, they left the meeting with a much lighter load then they came with. |
