JANUARY MEETING

 The meeting opened with Bob Obenland asking new members to stand and introduce themselves.  The treasurer’s report was read and approved.  Announcements were made about the continued food drive, and house tours for the season. The audit committtee reported that all records are in good order, and it was accepted and approved by the members.  The upcoming holiday party will be held on March 13th at the Colony West Country Club. The cost will be $30.00 per person and a sign up sheet will be available at the February meeting.  The proposed budget for 2004, which is following, was presented and approved.  A new slate of officers was voted on and accepted with the following positions President - Chris Barrett, Vice-President - Marlene Bretl, Treasurer - Chet Rosenbaum and Secretary - Rich Moore.  Jeff Kirchner from “Seasons in the Sun”, announced that they are now  a Club 56 Dealer, one of  only 100 dealers in the nation, and will be able to offer special Club 56  pieces.

 After refreshments, Vern Schwieterman from the Tampa Bay 56ers, demonstrated various methods of carving styrofoam and creating mountains.   Prizes were drawn as follows:.
