*October will be our 12th Birthday. To mark this special occasion, we will have a very limited item in our raffle. Come to the September meeting and see what you can win in October.
 

SEPTEMBER MEETING

The meeting opened with introductions of the board members and three new club members. The report from the Treasurer was read and approved. Announcements were made about the continued canned food drive, and the items that were available from SRG. A recap of SRG was given, as well as other gathering information on the Michigan and California gatherings. Information was given on the Swap & Sell that the Tampa Bay 56ers will conduct on October 18th, and the D56 special D56 silent auction that will take place November 8th. Two club members, Ed Bussiere and Jason Wade, will be opening their own Christmas store in October in The Expo Shopping Center at Pine Island and 595. After refreshments, served by the board members, a demonstration and hands on workshop was conducted by Bob Obenland on how to make trees.

Open House 2003/2004

Can you believe that it is getting to be that time again?!! Time to think

about putting up your village and planning the great house tours for 2003/2004!!!

For those members that would like to have a tour please start thinking about when you would like to have your tour. We will start filling the dates at the October meeting.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The October meeting is the time a nominating committee is formed. Chris

Barrett, Vice President, will be the chairman and representative from the board. According to the By Laws, two people from the general membership are needed to complete the committee. The positions to be filled in January are President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Please volunteer to help Chris and be thinking about the possibility of accepting one of these positions.
