OCTOBER MEETING HIGHLIGHTS 

The October meeting was a great success!!  The 10th Birthday party was duly celebrated and prizes were awarded.  The first prize was a goody bag to the first 75 people to come.   The goody bags consisted of items from the D56 Anniversary party in St. Paul, in August, and some other items donated by various dealers and organizations.  We ran out of goody bags - so the attendance was great!!

A badge made by the Membership Chairmen was given to each person.  The badge will provide immediate identification of everyone and includes some perks.  If you are a current club member and  wear your badge and your club shirt, you will receive three door prize tickets at each meeting.  One ticket for each item.

 The business part of the meeting consisted of announcement of the slate of new officers to be voted on in January, the new NCC member house available, the upcoming programs for the club and time to sign up for Open Houses for the season.  A committee reported on a donation of $750 to be equally divided between the Joe DiMaggio Childrenâ's Hospital, Lotsy Dotsy Fund, and the Sheraton House Food Bank.  It was discussed, voted on and passed. 

The celebration for the 10th Birthday was a viewing of the video of the D56 Anniversary Party in St. Paul in August made by Jonathan Stout,  Peter and Vickey Gendron, Ed Bussiere and Jason Wade.  A fabulous job was done on the video and was enjoyed by all.  Just what everyone needed to get started on the decorations for the upcoming season. 

Ten door prizes and some special raffle prizes including the St. Paul Cathedral only available at the D56 Anniversary party,  were won by the members and to top it all off a fabulous cake for our PARTY!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!
