NOV MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
The November meeting was called to order by the President, Bob Obenland, and reports were given by the officers and committee members.The proposed budget for 2001 was presented and approved. The nominating committee gave a recommendation for the following offices: 2nd VP- Eric Corveleyn, Programs-Chuck Thompson, Membership-Norman Barrett and Bill Carroll. The election is to take place at the January meeting.
After refreshments, Elaine Krapf gave a demonstration on unique backdrop ideas. She showed how to cut away Styrofoam to give depth to the backdrop and also how easy it was to add trees to the backdrop to simulate a forest. She also gave ideas on how to clean your trees as well as washing your Christmas tree. We would like to give Elaine special thanks for filling in on very short notice.
A special raffle prize was donated by PAPER MOON HALLMARK, which was "The Night Before Christmas" , a storybook set. Raffle tickets were sold at two of the meetings and the lucky winner chosen was Marlene Bretl.
